Blue Jade? Yes Blue Jade.
Unfortunately there’s not many naturally occurring blue gemstones, sapphire is probably the most notable but this is classed as a precious stone and therefore is more likely to be facet cut and set into mounts as a ring or pendant. So for creating blue designs I have to often buy dyed gems, these being jade (normally green).
I have strung these faceted 8mm beads onto a blue nylon coated stainless steel wire, with sterling silver crimps and then I’ve used a sterling silver bolt ring to hook onto the loop of wire at the end.
